I`m within the tuning-period of my setup and I`m testing out the top-end capacity..
I ran into rev limit in 5th at 8500, 8650, 8700 and now 8800rpm... still she likes to go more...
Today, I went full throttle in 5th for about 40km... I just raised the pedal 2mm to avoid running into limiter every 10 seconds..btw nice to see all the "fast" Audi`s and BMW`s surrender at their factory-250m/h-limit..
When I arrived home, I let her idle a few minutes to cool down and later I checked oil.. She burnt 0,5 liter (!)...
Some say, it`s a sign the engine is "alive", but I am a bit insecure..
Is that within normal parameters ?

wow!!!! topped out in 5th.. I wouldn't be worried.... you were bound to lose some oil.. Just keep checking the level.....

yeah, it`s cool to be 3km/h faster than their 250-limited hp-monsters.... Most of them could be faster if not limited...the laugh is their dull-angry faces in the rear mirror..
I`m running 10W60 Castrol RS Racing
Right now my engine puts out 169kw (229 hp).... should be something between 195 and 200whp
You'll burn more oil if you use a thinner oil like 5W-40 or 10W-50. But thinner oil can release some more HP, but you have enough of that I think.

if u checked the oil of the car when it was cold before u went out driving.....
u better check it when its fully cooled down.... like 2 hours...
to let the oil drip into the pan... otherwise if u check it say.. right after.. its gonna come up short...
