Default lsv build

lsv set up
bottom end

stock bore b18b block
stock ls rods with arp rod bolts
ctr pistons
type r water and oil pump
type r oil pan
ctr crank pulley

head
cosmetic head gasket(to lower the compretion a lil and ad more clerance)
port and polish type r head
skunk2 valves
skunk2 springs and retainers
skunk2 pro 3 cams
skunk2 pro cam gears
rc 410 injectors
aem fuel rail and reagulator
walbro 250 fuel pump
performer x intake mf
and im missing a throtle body

custom 4-2-1 race header
flow master mufler with a strait thru no cat.

my question is what throtle body should i use a 68mm or a 70 since thats all im missing and will i have a problem with clerance since the cams are real big. plus have any body use the secondary injector on the performer x a lil info abouit them would be nice. thx and fell free to coment good or bad.

that is a very iffy piston choice, i hopw you know what your oding with that. your cr will be almost 13, although i see you kind of balanced that out with the pro 3's, which is a giant cam.

look into the new professional products tb's i just got mine it look really nice. 70mm taperd to 68. port match that to whatever manifold you have and it should be a ncie combo.

the opening at the intake side is 70mm and follows a factory 2mm taper down to 68mm at the manifold side to help with throttle response.

i was looking for 13.1 compretion so i coud move the cams but them i ran in to p2v problems so i got the cosmetic head gasket 4 a little more clerance. . the motor is going to be tune on 110 octane this way i dont lose power retarding the time .

its not the point that your gonna need to tune it on 110 is the point that you cant drive the car on anything but.

if its going to be a daily driver you have no choice but to use 110 or else your goign to be pinging liek crazy. i think p30's would have been a bettrr piston choice since they weigh less, have better flame travel and they yield around 11-5 11-7 CR depending on what head and gasket combo just my .02

the car is going to be a weakend car so 110 is no problem.
does any body have any sujestion about 68 or 70mm throtle body, im thinking about skunk2

i would say if you must have 13:1 comp, tune it on e85 if its avalible.its like 2.90 per gallon and is the equivilent to around 105 octane or so. i would say a pro3 is to large for a 1.8L motor. a pro2 would probly work better.

i have a bad feeling it will not last very long due to some piston to valve contact unfortunatley.

the tb can be had at vsracing.net or kteller sells them also.
