I put a new dizzy cap and button on it because it was throwin a code. It doesn't have a code now but it still wont start can any one help. thanks for any help.

its probably the distributor. did it die on you while you was running it cause if it did it could be your distributor,timing belt, or fuel pump

 

it did but it has no codes anymore. so im not sure. do you know where to get a schematic of where the fuel pump is.

 

did you get the firing order right? are you getting fuel? the fuel pump is in the fuel tank.

 

get someone to turn the key an see if you can hear the fuel pump kicking in, or smell for gas, i had the same problem on an ls hatch an it was the distributor. check your timing belt to see if its tight to make sure it did not skip a track

It could also be the main relay behind the driver side kick panel.

 

it is definatly something with the fuel pump.

 

Did you check and see if the fuel pump is priming when you turn the key to the "on" position?

 

yes i did it is not priming. but i sprayed carb cleaner in and it tried to start.
