de bading - residue still not coming off

Default de bading - **** still not coming off

i recently debadged my accord, but notice the outline of the emblems are still there. There's also this really hard shitof the outline, not sure what it is. When you go across it with your finger nail it sounds extremely hard. heres some pics. hopesomone can help or im just gonna have to put that **** back on, anyone suggest what i could use. thanks

Try clay-barring the surface, then polish it out.
If all else fails you could always wetsand it.

Kinda looks to me like the trunk has been repaired and that area was cleared without taking the emblems off. If this is the case you'll have to just put them back on or reapaint the trunk.

try a little wet sand and buff... start with 2000 or 1500, then buff with compound, if it just residue on there, you might have to hit it with an eraser wheel, you can get one for maybe 30-40 bucks, but be careful not to burn the paint...

Use gasoline...one of my friends used it to remove the adhesive and it worked...no damage was done to the paint.

It will be the best thing to do. Had the same problem but I just repainted the whole car. (Not b/c of the eblem ofcourse)

Like bburton said, wetsand and polish, don't use gasoline It's the paint edge from a previous paint job.

goo-gone or goof off whatever adhessive remover in LIQUID form worked for me. just don't go all crazy with it. good luck
