jdm p30 with obd1 jdm sir ecu code 22
hello i have a jdm p30 ecu with jdm sir obd1 in 97 hb obd2 civic. error code 22 show up only in 6th gear when vtec comes on.
v tec pressure swith is grounded on the ecu box when i comes out of the ecu (no vtec p switch on jdm this jdm)
someone knows whats goig on?? thanks.
oh yes also, 20 code is always in the ecu doesnt turn the check engine on. should i get a eld??

you have 6 gears in a B-series trans????
CEL 22 turns on because you have the oil pressure switch grounded. connect the line to the VTEC output control line and it will not set CEL22.
CEL20, the ELD is built into the fuse box. you may have to find one, or drop in a different ECU, one that doesn't look for the ELD.
if the CEL isn't on for CEL20, then either your bulb is burnt out, removed or disconnected.
