Was wondering if anyone on here does body work and paint, or can refer me to a place to get my GSR painted....

I'm looking to get my car painted Midnight black, or a nice white. I want a good paint job at a decent price, with wetsanding done at the end, and several coats of base and clear coat.

it's one or the other. you're not gonna get several coats of base and clear for a "decent" price, unless your idea of a decent price is upwards of $4500.

I got my integra painted at 1Day Paint & Auto Body in San Marcos off the 78. They did pretty good, considering the amount of body work that needed to be done. It cost me $1100. They color matched my cypress green

^not bad, but I've already went to a maaco place before, not they're the same company or anything, but their philosophy is similar, and their work ethic sucks. My car came out OK, by that I mean there was orange peel, they got overspray on my black leather interior, the door jams started to peel first day I got the car back....man I had to sell the car, that's how bad it was. So, once too many times is enough for me, you get what you pay for and my budget is realistically close to 2k, but the cheaper the better for quality work right?

Where did you get your car painted?
