Default Future Technology - Abundance of fuel...?

Interesting article. Could possibly be the best thing to ever happen for our environments sake down the road, although most of the damage is already done in relation to global warming:

it may be viable, but us as comsumers, myself included, will find a way to burn it all up too. may not deplete it, but find a way to de salinate the whole ocean til everything dies.

this is why i have no plans to have kids.

That is going to be the future of fuel....
My brother is one of the owners of 1 out of 5 companies in the world for bio-diesel. Which is a similar concept of ethanol fuel...

yes this is old news but its out of the question until they get the amount of energy used to produce the energy waves to ignite the water to be LESS than the output energy produced by the combustion. A great hope though that they will perfect it, poor water in, start engine and your alternator powers a microwave, HAHA!

that is basically what it is, a radar range igniting water. I bet when Mr. Amanas chocolate melted 50 years ago he would have never thought that his technology would be powering cars some day.

But what will happen to all the fish, when we use up all the sea water.

As the water is used up, all the people with ocean front property will no long have the ocean outside there door.

This just can't be happening...

I wonder if VP will make a W16

although this technology is a prolly a long way from working properly, i seriously doubt depleting the salt in the ocean would happen. Theres more water than there is of anything else in this planet.

Salt water can also be looked at for use in electirc cars. The salt helps generate an electic charge.

As far as Global warming the Earth goes through cycles. It may take millions of years but it does. The Earth had these problems when the caveman was around also. There had to be global warming in order to come out of the ICE AGE right

True, but will you still be able to say that after Billions and Billions of people around the world start using the water to fuel their vehicles......

It's in it's early stages though also. The idea of a fuel is to RELEASE stored energy which hydrogen/oxygen do have a decent amount of.
