need help asap

Default need help asap

i put a new head on my 93 integra and everything went smooth , i put the timing belt back on , now when i start it i revs to about 4 grand and it and theres a loud tapping like someone hittin the valve cover with a hammer , so i took the belt back off and tightened up the tensioner up more and started it back up and now i still have the same prob ... if anyone could help id greatly appreciate it ....

Are you sure you lined up all the marks right? The marks on the cams and the TDC mark on the crank pulley?

yeah thats what my friend josh told me to do , but the motor didnt do it before i took the other head off , do you think it might be a bad head ...

vould be some valve train problems. if yoru timming is off, it def isnt good.

well i got another bored head you think i should just go ahead and put it on ... cuz i just bought it brand new i kno its good lol

do a valve adjustement! it should take care of that...make sure all the cam bolts in the head were torqued correctly and in the correct sequence!
