I think you might be looking at the wrong "rings" because the difference in the ITR and CTR is a set of "rings" that creat a lip on the raised portion of the cam (just like your B16 cams have). However the ITR and CTRs are set apart from B16s due to the 2 sets of "grooves" that are higher up on the skinny portion of the cam. There seems to be a lack of pictures of the B16 and GSR cams and some mix up on which rings come from which years, however that plays little effect into the fact that you dont have CTR cams. As for the "if you knew your ****" comment....Im gonna let that one roll since you are a newb.

ok i am not a newbie and i have been working for acura for 5 years now and i bought these cams brand new from the dealer and they are for a 2001 integra
type R because i knew that they replicated the ctr intake cam and the part # on the cams are in.14111-P73-J01 EX. 14121-P73-J01 so dont know about all the stuff u are talking about but i have these the pics you are showing are jdm cams theses are us specs so i guess we are both dummies and check that part # with your dealer if u dont believe me

you stated they were ctr cams, and now saying they are itr cams. bottom corner of this pic is US 2001 TYPE R CAM which you just said yours "are" Looks nothing alike. I have 01 type r cams sitting right next to me that look exactly like this picture, and NOTHING like your picture. I would return your cams to the dealer you got them from if i were you.

I vote GSR P72
If you did indeed buy these as P73 then someone swapped them out before you got them.

ok i guess all you master techs are right but measured the cam lobes and the height matched the specs on the 01 type r specs in the helm original service manual so it what ever u want them to be i am not forcing a gun to anyones head to buy it but when i tuned my car with these got much more than my stock 99 gsr cams and the vtec sounded alot different. and theses did not look anything like my gsr cams that came out

post pics of the measurement. or have you not that of that? :/

at this point, i dont think people are going to take your word for them just because you said, "when i tuned my car with these got much more than my stock 99 gsr cams and the vtec sounded alot different. and theses did not look anything like my gsr cams that came out "

BTW, funny you should mention GSR cams, when it looks like you are selling GSR cams and claiming they are CTR.
