Default Please tell me what kind of lug nuts these are and where can i get a key for them.

Hi,

Bought the car and did not have keys to lugs. Please help me find out where I can get the keys for these. Looks like the one with the grooves looks kind of like the ebay lugs, but I don't want to spend 40 bucks for lugs and not have the right key. Thanks.

You can go to a wheel shop where they'll remove them and get new lugs w/ key...

if they are OEM go to your local car dealer, they should also hold onto the keys. but doing what project95 said seems more simple.

Or you could use a sledge hammer with a craftsman (any lifetime warranty socket) a smaller size socket than the lug. Just pound it on and breaker bar it loose. Then go to vatozone and buy new locking lug so you have the right key.

What about the first one though?? It has that weird pattern on it unlike the ones at the bottom which look kind of standard.

if you take it to a wheel shop, they will have keys. and if they dont they will find some way to get that **** off. make some local calls to shops.

Any good wheel place will get that off no problem. You could always leave your car where its likely to get stolen. Trust me, the wheels will be off.

the first one u can use a small socket and slam i in. try using a impact socket those tend to be a lil stronger and wont crack or split the socket. then just use an impact gun or a breaker bar to take it of. if u dont want to go thru all that then just crack it off. split the nut then get a punch and or air hammer and crack the rest off. as thef or second one thats easy get the allen head sockets and it will come rite off.

the bottom pics of the lug nuts look like my old gorilla lug nuts. Any wheel shop should have a key to take those off
