Default 96 Civic DX w/ GSR swap/low miles/COLD a/c in GA SOLD!!!

FINALLY SOLD!!!!!

I have had this for sale for a while now, really need to sell it since the house I am buying has an awful driveway for a lowered car. Any reasonable offer or trade will be considered!! If your trade is nice enough, I might be able to add a little cash on my end, just let me know what you have!

If I can't sell it soon, I will just install the stock springs and keep the car.

Price drop to $4500 without the DSS axles or $4700 with!! This is ALOT of car for the money!
MORE PICS BELOW!

UPDATE again 8/9/07- no more problems with the temp gauge. It works perfect now. I know that will put a lot of you guys at ease.

UPDATE- Now has installed brand new Honda floormats, 99 SI center console armrest and SI gauge cluster!!! Will include Driveshaft Shop 2.9 axles FREE. They had about 7k miles on them...boots are brand new (were fixed by DSS for free-defective boots and I just put stock axles back in).

I am looking for a nice reliable 4 door w/ AC (automatic or 5 speed), but let me know what you have if you are interested...

This is a red DX coupe-no ps, pw, pl. However, the car did come with AC, and with the Del Sol bracket, it still works great. Probably about 180k miles on the chassis. The swap and work was done by the previous owner, I bought it about 7 months ago.

A few mods- AEM Cold air intake, DC sports header and full exhaust with an Omni power test pipe, and a Skunk2 intake manifold. It runs pretty strong.

The car is overall in good condition and looks good. There are little dimples on the top, hood and trunk (perhaps a light hail storm). Not that bad and only noticable in the right lighting and angle. When I bought the car I didn't even notice it... Also, normal dings on the sides, again nothing TOO bad, but they are noticable. It has the JDM yellow driving lights in the front with the stock switch mounted correctly. 2002 SI wheels with decent tread on the tires. Skunk2 lowering springs (stock springs included).

Clean carfax on the car and the swap (have paperwork on both). There is a total of about 80k miles on the engine and tranny which came out of a 2000 GSR (Hasport mounts used). The timing belt was done at the time of the swap (about 8k miles ago), along with an Exedy clutch.

The interior is in pretty good condition...a few rattles (probably due to the stiffer mounts, but not too bad). Has a Skunk2 shift **** and a decent Panasonic CD player. SI cluster, armrest console and brand new Honda floormats...Other, than that it is stock.

Problems:

The CEL is on due to not having a cat.

Rides a little rough due to the stock shocks and lowering springs. Not terrible, though. Could stand to be aligned.

Other than those issues, the car is great. Extremely fun to drive, and I have not got less than 30 mpg since I have owned it.

As you can see, A LOT more $ has been put into this car. The hardest work has already been done.

pm me with any questions/comments-thanks!

^^thanks I really like those cars, but you are too far away for a trade...I would like to see the car before committing to a trade. Anyone else?

Very nice, but unfortunately I am only selling/trading to get something like a truck or four door. Otherwise, I would just keep this car. I love driving it, it is just not practical for me right now...

s10ck- I have always liked your car, but with the tranny grind and no A/C, I would need more on top of your trade. Sorry. Sell your car for $3500 (I would hope you could get AT LEAST that for it) and then buy mine for $4500! Everyone wins!
