suspension on '00 EX ques
Ok, so lately my car has been riding like crap. I feel like im riding in a car with cut springs. I assumed it was my shocks since they hadnt been changed and i have 103,000 miles. I have arospeed springs 2 1/2" drop, and just put on brand new Tokico shocks. It feels a little better, but still bouncy. Any suggestions, or any1 with a smiliar problem?
update:
ok... so im keeping the tokico's and looking for new springs... suggestions? im debating between the H&R limited's, and the race... REMEMBER I like a softer ride (gliding over bumps as opposed to bumping over bumps), but i want it to handle like a **** that it is)

AKA Blues. These werent really meant for lowering purposes, and will make your car feel like a pogo stick. My friend put these on his lowered civic and it sucked.

I think the best way for you to improve your suspension would be to get rid of the springs and get springs that are going to be better for your new shocks and for a better ride and handling. I would suggest looking for springs with a 1.5-1.75 drop. Also with better spring rates. ie H&R, Neuspeed Sports,Tein S.Tech, ST Suspensions, or Progress.

Get a less agressive drop or sell your current shocks for some illuminas or some used konis.
Either way, get a shock/spring combo that compliments one another.

Hit up the suspension marketplace, I swore I have seen Ground Control coilovers go for around that price, maybe cheaper.
Edit: Found the link... http://www.hondamarketplace.co...69581
Its for Koni Yellows, but its something you can get right now while you save for new shock/strut and your setup is complete.

Yes, or KYB AGX or Koni Yellows. The blues are like the KYB Gr2 or w/e they are called. Stock replacements and they are not meant to be dropped that low.

with a 2.5" drop you NEED a shock with more agressive valving. Tokico blues will not do that for you.
You need:
KYB AGX's - ~$280
Tokico Illuminas - ~$350 new (cheaper used and still has lifetime warranty)
Koni Yellows - $450 new (cheaper used and still has lifetime warranty)
OR, you could get some softer, higher shocks.
Tein s-techs have 1.8" drop and will be better suited than what you have. You're cheapest solution for a better ride is the tein s-tech or stock springs.
