Default Will it crack?? Noob welder

I built my log manifold using sch. 40 mild steel weld butt fittings. Due to me being an amatur welder I believe I wasnt using enough heat and did not penatrate the thick steel completly. If you look inside the manifold you can still see the line where the two pieces were fitted together. Now I did however bevel the edges before welding them together. What do you guys think? Should I just scrape this one and start over. I'm replacing the tubing going from the log to the turbo flange(due to it being to thin) So now is the time i think. Thanks

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't scrap it...especially since it's sch40. My first log was the EXACT same way. I was worried about it, but then luckily I ended up having to cut one of the T's out. I cut it on the weld and what do you know, I was penetrated 90% or so.

Seeing the joint inside could be a good thing just for the fact you don't have a bunch of sugaring which could end up in your turbo. That's assuming you didn't backpurge...most noob's don't. I think you'll be fine to be honest....oh yeah, and that first one I made is still crack free over 2 years later and it's on a daily driven Civic....no bracing either.
