ISB (Input Shaft Bearing)

internal to the tranny, about $35 in parts, I'll be stocking them soon.

I charge $100 including the parts if you bring the tranny to me, out of the car!

But I'm in oHIo and shipping isn't cheap.

yes hes right input bearing shaft.. transmission shop is gonna charge u a arm and a leg.. prob 500+

pull the tranny yourself and bring it up there will save you alot of money and if your feeling froggy d it yourself its easy .. i thought when i opened my first tranny everything was gonna fly out at me like springs but nope its all nice and tight.. its really simple i saw a DIY search and find pics its a easy fix just takes time

You could be a used tranny, DX even for the cheap, then learn how to replace your own ISB.

Bense and me can walk you thru it, just have a digi cam ready to take decent pics.

Easy as pie, eh Bone.

What's gonna be your shipped price on an ISB and seal. It's $32 from SL. U gonna beat that? If so let me know, I'll take a bunch from you.

My plan is to match SL's prices.

large isb/isb seal/thrust washer $35
small isb/isb seal/thrust washer $33

Also will have axle seals, shift shaft seal, sealing washers, bitch pins, shift boot, clutch boot, crank keys, cam keys, Y7/Y8 OEM cam gears for A6 cam into B7 swaps.........

Basically I'm ordering in bulk, which saves on shipping, which is were I make a small amount of money. Also means I have a good inventory when a rush of trannys come in for repairs.

That's exactly what I did. Once you actually do it, you realize how easy it is. Well, after you drop the trans. that is.

It can go for a long time, but it should be changed it as soon as possible.
