Default Oil orifice o-ring?

Finally putting my head back on my gsr block, does the oil orifice on the block between cyl 2 & 3 have an o-ring? Don't remember seeing one when i took apart the motor.

Yes, item 13 is an o-ring while item 12 is the actual orifice.

so does the o-ring go under the metal jet or above the jet, and between the head gasket and block, from the looks of the picture, it goes below the oil jet down into the block

There is a machined groove in the oil jet that the o-ring fits in. Once you have one in your hand its obvious.

i did not remove the oil jet from the block, there are no threads to thread a bolt in, does the o-ring inside the block or above the block
