While sitting still or driving the car hits 5,500 rpm and sits there. it doesnt bump off rev limit it just sits there and floods. i have checked sensors, compression, timing, and still the same thing. I dont know what to do. Please help. 91 accord EX coupe f22a4 MT.

hey im not positive on the problem, could be many different things but i have a 91 accord lx and had rev issues before also and i had to change the vacum line going from the intake manifold to the valve cover and there is a sensor on the intake manifold that looks like a canister with two screws on the top and that contolled the idle problem i had. hope that helps you a little.
