is it a good geal. my b16a2 long block has 75kmiles and skunk2 proseries intake manifold + nology hotwires for a b18c1 bottom block w/ b16 head w/ ctr cams + $150 on my end. does this set up sounds good and would it be reliable?

 

If it's in good shape, you are gaining displacement and getting more aggressive cams.

 

the guy says it has 500 miles on it. new motor, i'm assumin he just oem rebuilt the motor. not so sure though. but i hate the fact that it would be hard to make it pass smog.

Don't ASSume anything. Ask questions, lots of questions. The more you ask the more you should be able to tell if the guy is genuine or full of s%!t. See if he has recepts for parts he claims the motor has, stuff like that. Just be carefull if you don't know the guy. I don't want to see another "I got scammed" thread!

 

LOL, the guy's ripping you off for sure. No idiot would make that kind of a trade unless there was something wrong with the motor...
