Good deal on thermostat?
Would you want your thermostat opening up at a lower temp? anyone have experience with this. Need to buy a thermostat because I'm going to flush coolant next weekend, and figured, as long as i'm doing it, I should replace my thermostat and since NAPA is hella expensive it would be cheaper buying online.

Re: Good deal on thermostat? (95civicdx)
If your thermostat opens early the motor will take longer to warm up. It can be a pain in the *** in the winter. Especially if you have forged internals. Are you sure that NAPA didnt look up the wrong part because I got mine for 8 bucks from the NAPA by my house.
Edit here is a link to the NAPA webpage I just did a generic search for a Vtec single cam. I think all the thermostats are the same. The most expensive one on there is only 25 thats still cheaper than Ebay. I would talk to them again I think they gave you the wrong price.
