Default k20 in eg

anyone here can tell me what the challenge of putting a k20 in an eg civic is? i mean, putting a b16 is pretty much straight forward, block fits perfectly and you dont really need any damper or general suspension upgrades. but k20 is a bigger engine, how good will it fit in the eg and is there need for modifications for perfect fit? also, what kind of suspension upgrade is needed for the extra weight if there is any? anyone here done k20 swap in eg? if so, can you tell me about the details? I just bought a 1995 and it is dead stock!! you dont find that often. anyways, i wanna put a k20 inside so, please, help me out so i know if it can be done.

generally speaking, you're looking at about 10 grand to get it all in if you have no connections

most ppl would say no to this but i agree. if you have zero connections and have to pay full price for everything and have no skills to do any of the custom work yourself or a connection on it then i would say it would definitely be upwards of 10k. i know where i live it would cost that much for sure. and because of the fact i have horrible luck with getting good deals around here

a bit of both and lack of tools and a work area would halt this project before it started

If your a good driver and you have some sticky tires. High 12s low 13s are easily attainable on a stock motor thats tuned. Stock except for a header because you have to get one when you do a Kswap. If your completely dumb and dont know how to source parts or you dont do any work yourself and you get raped by a shop it will cost you 10 grand. If your smart and get your hands dirty you can do it for around 7k. Good luck and check out k20.org they have tons of information and good deals on parts.
