I think he meant to say that they were NOT designed to handle the change in ride height. The damping properties of the stock shocks are different from aftermarket ones. More than likely your stock shocks will blow sooner rather than later.

They are probably not blown YET, but the stock shocks aren't made for lowering springs. He needs new shocks period.

I could have swore that when I picked up my KYB AGX's a long long time ago that it said you shouldnt lower the car more than 2-2.5 inches because it would void the warranty or w/e (something along those lines) and that was on aftermarket shock. Tucking on stock shocks is not a good idea.

we just changed my buddies eg struts.. they were blown on all 4 corners he took one out when he turned it upside down fluid poured out lol he had been riding on them liek that for about 5 months..
it rides liek a dream with same coilovers with kyb agx.. get rid of the stockers it dangerous
