help with tire size?
Right now im rockin 17' motegi ff7s wheels with 205/40r/ 17 80w. i want bigger tires to fill up my wheel well a little bit, cause i still wanna lower it but nothing too low pro.
any suggestions. im not good with tire **** at all. haha. im not sure what they are as far as 17 x what? i know thats the tires i have on em now tho. i just want sumtin bigger in height/sidewall

Have a experiment with this tire size calculator, you put your existing sizes on the left and your intended bigger tyres on the right. It will also tell you how much your speedometer accuracy is affected, the best change is to alter the tire size so your speedo still remains as unaffected as possible.

205/40/17 is a civic size.......it shouldn't be on your prelude to begin with
use that link in put in the stock size and play around until you find the right sizes

i had 205/40/17's when i got my wheels ut now am running 215/40/17 with h&r springs,they are a lil taller and wider, look lot better. i can post a pic later if you would like.
