Default Best Sound from my Stock engine

my 93 civic HB came with this pathetic huge muffler which is too loud and doesnt suit the car
i was wondering wat muffler or catback exhaust system i should go with to make my car sound decent something not to loud and not too quiet either.
i was looking up the spoon muffler, not to sure if it will sound the same with the stock engine. ??

any help be appreciated

I've been looking into the Mugen twin-loop, damn quiet and not too bad of a price. I'd get the knock-off though, I saw no difference between them. BTW there is an exhaust sound clip thread in the FAQ section. Check it out.

apexi world sport 2 would be ur best bet. that or custom pipeing to an es oval or magnaflow with 2.25 inlet and 2.5 outlet. something along those lines.

if u are on a budget, then get a oem s2000 or rsx or 07 si civic's rear end muffler and have a muffler shop welded it on.thats what i have. i paid $80 for a oem s2000 twin loop rear end muffler and spent $40 to have a shop welded it on for me.and it sounds good and look nice.high flow

If they just welded the muffler on to your existing/stock piping...it won't do much at all for higher flow. If you have a shop redo your piping on the other hand, that can be a very nice setup.

Apexi WS2 is amazing. On my all stock VX, it sounds nearly stock, but gets a little deeper under hard acceleratioin.
