Current ECU P30, I also have a P72 which ECU is best?
I'm currently running a P30 ECU in my 95 EG w/B16. I'm wondering if running the P72 ECU I also have in my tool box will make any difference. Both are OBD I, so which is best? Thanks for any help
this is a common question when getting into this sort of thing.
larger engine = more power. so use the ECU from that for more fuel and more power.
with our engines it doesn't work that way. Tuning is everything.
If you have a stock engine with basic bolt ons, stick with the stock ECU.

Thanks for helping me out. I've been in the game for a while just was a question I'd thought maybe someone could help me with. I've got a turbo B16 that has a great tune by jeff Evans, but for my beater I've just got bolt ons and didn't know if maybe the p72 could make a difference. So now I've learned that it isn't the correct ECU and to stick with the P30. Thanks to everyone for all their help
