I just got my H22 in my EG and my friend has a ITR and he beat me at a 60 roll... What the hell is wrong with that. I know i should win that race... What could be wrong. Both cars are completly stock

 

one knows how to drive and the other doesn't? what gear did you pull from, and why a 60 roll with an h22

 

well thats what it ended up being when we slowed down.... i know he was in vtec and i wasn't but i still should have pulled once i hit vtec

 

b series engines are strong. the only thing good about h22s are low end torque. personally for the money you shouldve went b series. or K

Depends on the weight too. Did you have tools, stereo etc in your EG?

what kind of question is that???? anything could be wrong, we werent there, we dont know whats going on...

if there is a problem with your car, be specific. do u have any cels??? does the car run right? is it bogging out? you tell us what the problem is and maybe we can help u figure out the solution.

when u come in here and say u raced a type r and lost... well who fukin cares???!!!?? for all we know u dont know how to drive.
a 60 roll....u could have been in 3rd gear, he might have been in 2nd... see ya.


i have an h22 civic, i never lost to a type r. but then again, driving is not an issue for me.

I'm going to give you a serious answer, cause no one else will.
If your friend was already in vtec and you were both in the same gear, he's already into his power band. You weren't. At that point, being maybe 1500rpms higher, he's making another 20hp than you. Maybe more.
He beat you because of where you were in each of your power bands. If you did the roll from 40 where you could still be at the top of second, and he'd be at the bottom of third, he'd bog, and you'd tear him apart. Simple physics, son.

 

i kinda fingured that but wasn't sure... he doesn't remember what gear he was in but i was in third cause i didn't feel like downshifting ( had a really bad clutch ) but i am going to race him again
