i was just putting on my new headlights and my new fog lights on my new 93 Civic HB,
the bolts on the bumper underneath the hood are rusted so bad i cant get them out.
i tired WD40.
if i try with a driller, it just messes up the face of the bolts

any help would be appreciated

 

hammer on a slightly smaller socket make sure it's straight

 

I didn't have to take off my bumper when installing the fog lights, just nimble fingers

 

but i have to install the headlights aswell.

so its not clip???i thought they were clips and tried to separate them with flat head screw driver....
i will try the socket method....but the damn thing is rusted bad

 

u cant get the 2 bolts under the car right? did u already try drilling them? if not take a 8 mill or 9 which ever kinda feel like it might go on and just it on the bolt with a hammer try using a extension so u don't hit your fingers

 

or do you mean the 5 across the front? that have star heads those usally have to drill out and then tap and put bolts in or get ****** screws after you drill it

ahh, i had to drill those ******* like i said then i tapped them and used small bolts

 

haha yea man i tried doing that aswell
but it jus messes up the face of the bolts
instead of being 4 head
they turn into circle
???
any more suggestions ????
