The CTR and ITR exhaust camshafts are identical; both have the same part number. The intake cams differ slightly.
The CTR and 2000-2001 USDM ITR intake camshafts have slightly more duration than the 1997-1998 USDM ITR intake.

You would be better off saving for the turbo. If you just drop the cams in your not going to see much for power gains, you could actually even loose power. What mods do you have right now?

how would you lose power? What you should do is buy some itr valve train and get some bc spec 3+ cams. A really good midrange cam. Get a NICE header and exhaust, and an intake. Then throw a tune on it. Itll be a fun little can then.

But if you turbo it stock I have friends making 311 on 10 pounds.

There is a chance you might lose power because your putting higher lift cams in without adjusting the fuel and igntion maps or the timing. If you had a ITR ecu to go along with it that would be a different story. The buddy club spec 3 cams plus valve train plus a nice exhaust header and intake is going to run him well over 1500 bucks and you could easily have a decent turbo kit for that.

And you dont not have friends making 311 on 10lbs stock.

You can get the bc3 cams for 512, then buy some itr valve train for maybe 250 then cam gears for 150 and tune.

And as for my friend making 311, how can that not be possible? Can you prove to me that a stock gsr CANT hold that?

Save up for your turbo setup. Yes, the cams will help, but if you're on a budget, they're not neccessary. You can always run stock cams (like me) until you can afford to upgrade. Be patient and dont waste your money on stupid things. Think BIG picture and wait...its well worth it

315whp/216wtq on my DD GSR w/ stock bottom end...its possible

here's the graph AT 10PSI that proves it...

Still want to doubt it?

I like how you consider a turbo stock. If a integra make 311 stock, then a C6 vette makes 1000+hp stock right?

I'm not the one who said having a turbo isn't stock. I was simply refuting your original statement below that ignores the fact that it is turbocharged, and addresses the fact that it is "impossible" to make 3xxwhp on 10psi on a stock GSR. I dont care what you consider "stock" but most of US consider "stock" as the bottom end.

You can twist your statements and attempt to wiggle your way out of this whole mess, but the easiest way to end this thing w/o a huge, pointless arguement is to accept that there was a misunderstanding in the wording or that you were wrong. Those are the two options as i see it. You make the choice...

If you're going turbo anyway, keep the gsr cams. They have been proven to be some

of the best turbo cams for a B-series-stock or aftermarket. They have pretty high lift

and low duration-PERFECT for turbo applications.
