Weird AC issue
Car: 94 LS Auto
Sometimes for no apparent reason no Air will come thru vents when going from Off to On position. Example, i wake up, get in car, move **** over bam no air thru vents.
But sometimes it will work and air and blowing like it should and will stay on. Never shuts off or anything, though it does in some settings liek 1 or 2 get kind of noisy but never shuts off.
So its like shoot or miss whether ill temporarily have air coming out of the vents or not.
Any suggestions? Could the AC Control unit be going bad or have loose wiring? It works fine when it wants 2 but its either working or not working at all.
Thanks in advanced!

You have to be more specific. Is the blower motor no working? Is it does it only do this when the A/C is on or does it do it when the heat is on to? Run a few selection tests on it and get back to us. Let me know excatally what it is doing.
Dont really know how else to say it except for maybe this:
I can click the AC unit from the off position to any poistion 1 - 4 and no air blows out of the vents. But on days when it wants to work air comes out of the vents.
I dont know if its a blower issue but in my mind if it was then no air would ever come out once its messed up but since its random it leads me to believe its another issue. So the question woudl be what could cause the Air not to comeout of the vents besides the blower?
Ive heard of the resister in the glovebox area going bad but i cant find out where on the link below which part it is.
LMK!
I need help! If all else fails ill make a vid using a different car as an example since the tegs is very very random, ive gone up to 4 days before it decides to work again and im on day 3 now lol.
Thanks,

It almost sounds like your switch is going bad but they usually just die and don't work on 1-3 but high will work because its a direct 12volt feed. The other settings are 12 volts run through the switch which is a potentiometer which cuts the amperage down. If you remove the switch when its not working try measuring the resitants between the connectors. You could also try bypassing the switch and running 12volts to the blower motor when it acts up. If the motor runs than it is almost definitely the switch. Try a few tests on it and let me know what you find.
well, i got an update!!
I ran all the tests via Honda Service manual and determined it was the Blower motor because the Resistor was fine and the plug was getting power from the battery when AC Control was set to 4. Well..guess what!
I forgot i still had the key in II position and pluged blower motor plug back in when it started working again?!?!?!? WTF!!
Turned car off then back on and no blower motor power...unplugged and replug connector and it started again.. Did it once more but no power this time!!! So i gave it a tap and voila its working lol.
So Im assuming its my blower motor since the only way to get it to come on is to tap the bottom of it when i have the AC on.
