Default Crx in progress, got motor. PICS!

Well this is my b20/b16 build for my drag crx. Ive got james at jg-fab making me intake/exhaust headers. Its all motor but i might decide spray a 200 shot on it. Heres what i had done to the car:
B20 bottom end with B16 head
- Crowler rods
- JE pistons
- Ported head
- Supertech valves + valve springs/retainers/keepers
- Crane custom cams
- Buddy club cam gears
GSR tranny
- Slotted 1-4 gears
- Carbon coated syncros with half the teeth removed
- Weld re enforcement
Body
- Lexan windows
- Fiberglass doors/sideskirt/front end
- Megan LCA's
- 10 pt roll cage
- Springs/shocks
- Slicks

Its got alu dust from sand blasting on it. I need to clean it up and put on the door + front window.

good luck, you're up against the big dogs.

NHRA ALL MOTOR

Norris Prayoonto
Jeremy Lookofsky
Leslie Armendariz
Saul Salceda
Scott Kelley
Julie Stepan
Doug Parks
Richie Gibson jr
Angel Valentin
Jesus Padilla

and for IDRC there are 2 classes that i am aware of:

ALL MOTOR and PRO-AM

or for BOTI:

PRO-STREET and STREET PERFORMANCE (All vehicles must retain factory body, windshield and windows.)

What class do you think i would be in now? What class would putting nitrous on bump me to?

depends on which sanctioning body.

your chassis is putting you in a higher class than you can compete with that motor, even with nitrous. (supercharged, nitrous, and turbocharged cars are all the same class)

i suggest selling your current chassis and using a more "stock" body/interior and compete in IDRC PRO-AM which is like "street cars" with a really great engine build.

On that build (13:1 comp) about the only choice i have is n2o i dont think a turbo would be to great with 13:1... Or has anyone done that before? So there is no way i can be competitive with that motor/body even with a big shot? What kind of power will a build like that take?

i dont think its wise to use any sort of forced induction on that compression ratio.

competing means having a fast, reliable, consistent car.

depending on which sanctioning event... but i dont think the car will be very competitive in any NHRA class.

for IDRC or BOTI, your motor can hang with some of the street-performance or pro-am cars.... but your chassis will put you in a pro class, and i doubt you'll be able to even qualify for competition.

you may want to download the rulebooks for each sanctioning body and/or class you would like to compete in. because its been a while before i was really, "into" drag racing, ya know. so the rules might be different than i remember.
