Default RSX type S and CL type S

I was wondering if anybody had some comparisons. I am looking a getting a new car. I know there is a bit of a price difference, but I am just wondering about performance and other info.

it depends on what you are looking for. one has more luxury, and is faster.

It depends on what u want, the CL is clean, but it's not a car I would mod for racing, so it just depends

i'd love to have the type s CL..its clean...luxury, great sounds system, its quite da chick magnet, and performance wise, the 6-speed is faster than a type R, but of course handles no were as good

Well both are great cars and I wouldnt mind owning both. In the new super street they tested a CL type S and it ran a 14.6. Not bad for a heavy *** car like that. The RSX-S runs a 14.6-15.0. But handling wise I would have to go with the rsx-s. The CL type S isnt really a race car, more of a daily driver with a family. Plus the RSX-S is coming out with mods slowly, can you imagine how long a wait for the mods to come out for the CL type S? But in all they are both nice cars and are very comfortable, but the CL type S is more of a luxury car. Good luck with what ever car you get, both are great choices.

yeah but for around 1300 for a comptech header you get an amazing dyno proven 25+whp. Seriously those cl type s engines have more power potential as they were seriously detuned from the factory. I local around here hwas pulling 14.7 on a stock cl type s auto, threw the header on there with an intake and ran a 14.1. That was on a stock exhaust, he has since upgraded his exhaust but hasnt been to the track. I can imagine that a 6 speed could do mid to high 13s

Oh god here we go again. /sarcastic::h yes nothing can beat the all mighty type R::::/sarcastic Did I ever say that it could beat the type R? well did I????.ummm Well if your dumb *** had read the post correctly with a decent amount of reading skills you may have noticed I did not. Those are the numbers I have seen from the RSX-S around here and on other post. If the type R runs slower then that then I guess so. If the type R runs 15 and above then yes it can beat it.

So before you post a stupid comment read the post. thank you and good night......

If you can afford it CL-S, unless you are wanting to go all out race car If you want a fast daily driver that you can bump up the power and FULLY get your money's worth. Go CL-S.

i beg to differ...yes a rsx-s can beat a type-r...but its more of a drivers game than anything else...you probably based your opinion on an experience you've had, but i've also done the same thing...this is one of those debates that can go on forever...
