Exhaust question
So I bought a used RSR exmag exhaust for my EM1, the guy didn't tell me he had cut out the cat on his car and extended the pipe, so there is no cat, just a resonator and the muffler. Car sounds good, but now I have an exhaust leak somewhere (that's what I think it is anywas, rattling sound, feels like something is hitting the underside of my car).
The resonator hangs kind of low under the car, I'm thinking I might have to lose the resonator. How much louder will the exhaust be if I take off the resonator? I guess I could always buy a high flow cat if cutting out the resonator is too loud. What are your guys thoughts?
Thanks

X2, that would be a most unwise decision.

another problem...
... The shop didn't put my o2 sensor in my piping. So I'm throwing a CEL. I'm going back tomorrow, if they just simply put it back in the piping will i throw a cel still, because my cat is gone, someone told me I needed a defowler plug.

yes, it will throw a check engine light if you just connect the o2 censor to a pipe. so just get a cat so you dont have the cel and so people dont have to smell your exhuast.

Not really, depending on where you are from, not having a cat can get you in loads of trouble. In NJ here, they do roadside inspections in certain areas during the summer months.

I was going to get a cat, but my car is at the shop right now, and I don't have time to get them one yet. so there is no way to fix this. If not i'm buying a magnaflow flow through cat tonight

Blox makes a gapper insert to pull the 02 away from the exhaust flow.
you can find them on http://www.inlinefour.com, under the exhaust section
It will eliminate the check engine light by fooling the 2nd oxygen sensor into reading less emissions, but by no means will this get you thru any inspection.
