Waste of time/effort/money IMO. Throw some hubcaps on them if you got em (OEM)

No, leave 'em be.

You might wanna throw this in the right forum (appearance/cosmetics).

i dont think $6 worth of paint is much of a waste of money, i dont think a couple of hours into making my eg a little more appealing is much of a waste of time, and i think cleaning and painting the steelies chrome looks much better then some plastic *** hubcaps.

im still doing it, but thanks anyways guys.

do it. who cares what anybody else thinks.....that's sorta the whole reasoning behind doing stuff isn't it? i painted my steelies with an alloy looking paint...looks a hell of a lot better than black and i don't have to rock hubbies that will get broken when i slide into **** (not curbs, but giant stacks of ice/snow/rocks that we get blessed with each winter )

a good set of winter rims FTW! seriously if you got the money and time to kill go for it. i tried when i was younger and it stayed for awhile but removing all the rust was impossible and it flaked eventually. i prefer just getting another set of rims and snowies for them

Think of it this way...the paint'll add extra weight...can't have that...

I would really really like to know .... that if you didn't want anyone's opinion, if you weren't going to listen to anyone's opinion, if you had already made up your mind ....

Then why the ******* hell did you waste our time with this thread?

You know what, I saw that same exact picture the other day, and it inspired me to paint my steelies gold. I did it 3 days ago, I decided that it looked gross, and I didn't like it the day after, then I bought new HX's that day to ditch the gay painted steelies. Lol.

Crome is ok I guess, bronze is also ok on steelies, the duplicolor bronze wheel paint, I had my steelies painted that color for a while, it was ok cuz it was subtle.
