i just got a b16a front cut from a da6 integra and noticed that i got the s1 gearbox..
will this have the correct gear ratios for a crx and if not wot would be the best gearbox to go for i.e y1 ys1 etc?

s1 ownZ. not the best for freeway cruising, but so far i've had two, liked them both.

how do i exactly benefit from a gearbox with different ratios?? i.e will i get more power or somethin outta one over the other?? i dont know and would like to learn the benefits etc? if ya know pls let me know cheers

 

i'm not trying to be an *** here or anything, but its 3am and the answer ur looking for would require a VERY lengthy response. i'll answer it tomorrow if someone else hasnt by then.

You will be fine with it. It ownz around town. It's also bad *** on the highway but you crusing speed will be reduced. I used to like to cruse at 90-95 in my 99 si but now I only will go to about 80 for long distances at 85 mph I am in vtec in fifth.
