i just got my 4th gen back, and the idle is horribly wrong. i was curious how to set it back to the stock position? also where is the stock position? i left my service manual at my machine shop.
also the oil light only blinks when in neutral or at idle, but not in gear. any ideas why? oil sending unit?

Take it back to the machine shop and have them fix the issues you're having. The idle is no big deal, Start the car, let warm up, remove IACV 2P connector, adjust idle by using the idle Adjusting screw on the TB, set to about 550 rpm, shut the car off, plug the IACV 2P connector, Reset the ECU, and start back up. You should should be 750-780 RPM after the reset.
