Warm idle speed low
Car is 01 prelude manual
So my car idles at 400-500 but it should idle at 700+/-50. Car idles fine and no issues w/ the low idle, but when I put the ac on every now and then it's drop idle to the point where the card shutters/shakes and almost stalls. I tried adjust the idle screw turning it one full turn in both directions but the idle speed does not change.
Until i find the fix I just turn the ac off while the car is at a stop. When in motion there's no issues.

Re: Warm idle speed low
There is one step that you have to do before you mess with the idle screw. You first have to unplug the IACV connector.
Start the car, let warm up, remove IACV 2P connector, adjust idle by using the idle Adjusting screw on the TB, set to about 550 rpm, shut the car off, plug the IACV 2P connector, Reset the ECU, and start back up. You should should be 750-780 RPM after the reset.
