Did you double check to see if your timming was set correctly?
Do you have your IAB's hooked up correctly?
Gotta love those secondary butterflys.

You need to get the car tuned. Sounds like it was butchered and handed off

Thats honda-tech for ya, or as some call it, Hater-tech.
Sounds to me like you are new in the game, and this needs to see a professional tuner or some sort in order to solve out your problems. If it is in fact a GSR with the p72, it should not be limited to 7,000 RPM.

IAB's are the secondary butterfly's in the GSR manifold, that open up ( i forget what RPM ~ 4000?, i dont know off hand) to allow more airflow.

Ok IAB's stand for Intake Air Bypass. Its a set of 4 butterfly valves set up to open at 4400 on a stock GSR to aide in top end horsepower without effecting low end torque. VTEC on a stock GSR is not supposed to kick in till 5800. Are you sure your timing is right? Any check engine lights? (CEL's)

Nope, my B18C (correct badge for JDM GSR's) VTEC kicks in at 4500, the secondary butterfly's kick in around 5200.

Do you hear a fluttering noise? Maybe you could have a serious case of valve lash.

ok but a GSR is an Integra, sooo technically its not a gsr.. He just has a b18c1.

Elaborate?

Becuase you simply stated just because it wouldnt rev over 7k rpm, that it couldnt be a gsr. Being that he claims it doenst go over 7k rpm may have little to do with what motor is in there, as it does what ECU is running it.

He made it sound like his car redlines at 7 grand, like that was what it was supposed to do.

The p75 (integra LS) ecu redlines at ~7100 as well.

Hey **** for brains, pick up what's left of your dignity and walk the **** out of this thread before I take the remaining shred of respect dangling from your taint and feed it to the Kills forum.

hes not having problems with the interior of the car, I dont see how the chassis comes into play on this. Hes having engine problems, hence the GSR. Quit busting ***** over something so miniscule
