I know how how to lock the VTEC lobes and measure, etc, but how many degrees should I adjust the cam sprockets ? is it +/- 5 degrees?

You retard the EX and advancet the timing the most you foresee you setting you cams gear to based on your cam choice. Mines I only went +2 IN, - 2 EX for my BC3 cams.

I would go a touch more. Possibly even to 4. Its better to know for sure incase you need the room for adjustment. +2 isn't much.

Yeah I'm buddy club spec IV's with CTR pistons in an LSVTEC with a .044" headgasket, PR3 head, so gutsy is not even an option.
