short shifter on the wrong way??
i bought my 05 type-s from an acura dealer like 4 months ago and it came short shifted. ok problem is dat w/this short shifter all my gears are from the center of the shift boot to the top and when am shifting i kinda have to stretch out to put 1-3-5 gears into place i was wondering if all rsx short shifers were this way???? my buddy tld me dat its probably on the wong way or it really wasnt meant for my car.....plz help out....any opinions on the buddy club ss????
any grinds or kink sounds from the linkage, if its wrong installation im pretty sure the short throw is the only thing that can be installed backwards and your shift to first, third, and fifth is super short, but the rest is longer than usual. i've heard some bad reports from b&m like the shifter braking inhalf, other than that haven't heard your case
well da shifter feels pretty strong but all i hear are regular noises from the linkage just like stock, but nothing looks outta place and it doesnt look like anything is installed wrong. ifthat should be the case wat should i look for that might be backwards like u said??

well then ima order 1st thing tmwr morning. how much did u get it from and from where??? and also i dnt know too much about short shifters just beggining to learn but what do u mean by "putting it all day way short" cuz mine i believe it has two holes
i also have the buddy club short shifter on my type-s. Its amazing to say the least. Yes the throw is adjustable. When you have it on the shortest setting its crazy close. All around the shifter feels way solid and the gears feel like they lock in. One of my favorite mods by far. The heighth of the shift **** is about a 1/2 to 3/4" lower than stock. Install is straight forward and very easy to do if you have basic mechanical skills. You can get them on clubrsx.com for roughly 130 shipped.
