2005 Lx issues?
Hey all! I am David and am new to the site. Was looking through the forum and found very helpful ideas over my civic. I did have some questions about other issues that are arising with my car. I've got a 05 Civic lx (5-speed) and the problem is that when i have the driver's side window down, and am going over bumps in the road, the car's suspension makes like a squeaking noise. I know thats not the right word to describe the sound, but its just not normal for such a new car. I've had the car since march 06 (bought it from some one who was ETSing) and it only has 30k miles. No major accidents that would affect the suspension that I know of, and no modifications that I know of. Any help on trying to find a solution to this would be Great!!!! Also a second question, does any one know where i can buy a 2005 6 disk changer for under $200? or an iPod adapter for the radio? Thanks!

First off, welcome to the site.
Secondly, here's some answers to your questions:
1. You might want to start in the FAQ's for your upcoming and current questions: found here
2. Your suspension issue sounds like the strut might have blown, or something just may need greasing: check here for possible solutions
3. The only place I can think of that has the Honda OEM Disc Changer would be here.
4. I would get this iPod control module, as it allows you to control the iPod tracks with the OEM stereo controls.
PS. If anything else comes up, please try to use the Search feature first, as it comes in handy.

Toyomatt,
Thank you so much for the input. I checked the FAQ forum and found possible solutions to my suspension problem. It looks like i'm going to take the car to the local self car care center. As for the OEM iPOD adapter, i am not sure sure weather or not it will fit due to the 'compatability' list. I think it would because the differences between the 04 and 05 models did not include the radio. So i will email the company and ask them direclty. Finally for the 6-disk changer, the company does not take shipments from my location
Thank you again for your input!

You could always try emailing H and A Accessories, and requesting International Shipment. Some companies will go that extra distance for customer satisfaction.

If the car is less than 3 years old and under 36K miles, it should still be in warranty. Take it back to the Honda dealer.
