do u need fans to run the ac w/o over heating?
....haha.k sorry there is no new manifold or hot babes but i really need some answers to my post...so if you could keep reading and respond that would really help me out.thanks.do u need fans to run the ac w/o over heating?just as stated.i notice that the fans turn on when the ac does.does it really need the fan to not overheat?im running 2 slim fans on a full size stock radiator.no problems except the dump tube from the wastegate slightly rests on it.but i have ran a half size aluminum radiator with the stock driver side fan on the condenser and a slim on the half size radiator.but it started to over heat like that.i wasn't sure if the slim fan i had was efficient enough to cool it.but i never got to put a better fan on because while trying to take off the slim one i accidentally broke a tube.s i changed it back to stock.i would like to buy another one though and do not want to over heat.so just wondering if i should get the half size and try again with a stronger fan.or buy a full size aluminum and run a 14" fan on the passenger side only.so that the dumptube dont hit the fan???what should i do?

Yes you need a fan on the a/c condenser, or else you run the risk of over pressuring the system because it gets so hot.
No, this isn't a problem. The reason you need fans on with A/C is to pull air through the A/C condenser, and cause heat to be exhausted from the refrigerant to the outside air.
If your fan doesn't work, this process won't work, and the pressure will be too high. However, this won't cause failure because there's a pressure switch which turns off the compressor when this happens. This happens normally anyway, even if your fans are working correctly, if the outside air is too hot, or if your cabin fan is on too low, so that you're not fully using your cooling capacity.
The end effect of not having the A/C fan running is that your A/C just won't be as cold as it should be, or not even cold at all sometimes. It's noticeable when the car is stopped, or driving slow. At highway speeds it's not a problem because the air is forced through the condenser by the vehicle's speed. But damage to the system is not a concern.
