Default new cat to the crx group

lets see i have a 89 si with a d15 inside... p32 i think whatever the zc ECU is... AEM intake and i want to do some upgrading ... any suggestions?!?!

WHAT? I never knew you could melt a piston, please tell me more.

OP, it all comes down to what you intend to do with the vehicle: DD, Auto-x, or 1/4 mile?

when too much boost and over revving

d series can handle 210 hp on stock

internals on turbo at 9 psi

til number one piston melts
completing

then has been done

on my a6 block
and y6 head


running dsm 14b at 10 psi

and after 4 runs at rockfalls

i blew the mini me

and that was that

lost to a vr4

partially

a half car lenght

So, your engine got up to 1220 degrees Fahrenheit and melted the piston? I are confused.

im sure melting a piston wasnt becuase of over boost.
i cant remeber what my dad told me.
but i am sure it had something with running high octane or something, or running real rich

i forget if the feul mixture or air mixture cools the pistons?
could be completley wrong but i always thought over boost would end up pushing a rod threw your block. not melting anything though
