All Motor / Naturally Aspirated No power adders

ls/vtec? stock block/ built head or stock block stage 2 p&p? please help...

Default ls/vtec? stock block/ built head or stock block stage 2 p&p? please help...

i was just wondering if you guys can help me a little by giving me some advice on a ls/vtec buil for a coustomer.

what will produce more power:
b18 block w/b16 pistons and a built head w/itr cams (for now)
or
stock block w/b16 pistons and a stage 2 pnp w/itr cams

a port and polish will almost always yield more power, but what head setup would it be and what head and exactly what b16 pistons?

its going to be the rev springs & retainers w/its valves & cams in a b16 head or a stage 2 pnp.

i would pick up a set of p30 pistons, gives very nice compression (thats what im running) and rthe port and polish will definetly make more power in your situation.
