Popping Noise
Sounds like ball joints to me. Take a look at your suspension components for ripped boots. I can bet you money that you'll find one or more ripped boot. Any are candidates for the cause of the clicking from stop to go, but it most likely could be either of your ball joints.

Also look at your control arm bushings. They like to make a popping kind of noise when stopping and going when they are worn.

Yes yes. Don't forget to check those either. Really though, just take a look at any/all ripped boots and identify them.
