need advice about an oil leak

Default need advice about an oil leak

my oil is leaking from the drain plug, im guessing the threads in the oil pan is messed up, should i get a tap and re-thread it, or get a oil pan from a junkyard, or something else?

any advice would be great, thanks

You can try to clean up the threads, but you're probably better off in the long run if you can find a used pan. Then put a new washer on there every oil change, you cheapskate (they cost $.25). They will prevent this from happening again.
