Default p72 and p72 rods interchangeable?? need to know asap

i bent a rod on my 2001 gsr and in the process of rebuilding my motor i need a new one.
went to acura the part number on the rod for my car came up 13210-p73-000

all my other rods came stamped p72 (gsr rods) and i know that the p73 are for the itr. parts counter guy told me that his computer shows the same rod for both cars.

so wtf?
is that part number wrong like i think it is? if so whats the part number for a p72 rod?

thanks

Yes, but they'll need to be weight matched. I'd almost say it'd be easier to buy a used matched set.

They probably are the same part. they are the same length, then all that matters is the weight. i would go with a whole new set also. might as well get some forged ones while it's all apart, you'll regret it later if you don't. You already "bent" one don't bend another

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 64dartsb &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">They probably are the same part. they are the same length, then all that matters is the weight. i would go with a whole new set also. might as well get some forged ones while it's all apart, you'll regret it later if you don't. i would be nice if i had the money... but forged rods mean forged pistons and that would break my bank

the rods are going to get balanced anyways as part of my rebuild
