Default crank pulley bolt....

well recently for some reason my crank pulley bolt has been backing itself out and tis pissing me off..... does anyone know what i can do to tigten it down without having the special crank pulley tool so it doesnt spin??? sometimes i have to tighten it up everyday before heading out to work. any solution to this i would really apreciate

Lock the flywheel, stick like a screwdriver through where hte dustcover is(i dont have mine for this reason, lol), and when you get it locked in, then tighten it, you should be able to get it as tight as it will go that way. Same for removing it..

u can pull out the starter or the dustcover mentioned earlier, and hold the flywheel then tighten it, or swing by a local shop and ask to borrow an air gun really quick and give the bolt a good hit

Is that the dustcover on the bottom of the tranny, where it mates to the engine? You don't have yours on? Wouldn't the flywheel and the clutch assembly rust when water gets in there??

i dont see hwat would be wrong with the bolt...

so i should stick a screwdriver or something and jam up the flywheel hten tihgten up???

it dont get much water in there, it dont rain much in texas... its kinda like brake rotors, they will rust till the first time the breaks him em, and its gone..
