I just bought an eg with a 97 ls swap, and having some problem shifting fast there is a lag between the gears. the shop said the shift linkage needs to be adjusted Has anyone tried to adjust it before i cant find anything on the forum

 

I haven't had any personal experience on this, but in my buddys EM1 his shift linkage dragged on the road forcing him to stay in 1st, all he did was tighten it and it was good, so I think all you gotta do is tighten the linkage...
