When you say conversion what do you mean? There are so many ITR and SIR-G things you can "convert" like interior, front end, motor, suspension, etc...

ok, i'll tell you what the difference is:

SiR-G: chrome housing headlights and No bumper lip
Type R: black housing headlights (96-00 NON HID) 00+ with HID + front bumper lip.

All the metal parts are the same, the only difference is in headlights and bumper lip.
I painted the housing of my sir-g headlights and now it looks just like a type r ones!

sir-g started in 96

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by jdmDAsix &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i really meant the si-vtec integra with the usdm front end. what year did they start making the sir-g frontends?</TD></TR></TABLE>

the only "usdm" front is the '98+ front end, but even then it came out in england as a 97, so i guess it should be called the ukdm front end

our american 94-97 front end came out in japan in 93 and all the parts are the same except the bumper lights. plus japan had the sidemarkers, optional fog lights and the optional bumper lip

anyother questions?
