I was able to compare both radiator supports and I kinda doubt it but both headlights bracket on the USDM and JDM are the same, same dimension, size and etc...

I was just curious, since I am trying to find the easy way to swap the radiator support...

anybody can confirm this ?

 

swap radiator supports...if you knew anything about the support you would realize your answer?

you COULD skimp out on the rad support and just drill the appropiate holes for it and pray the front end works, but then, where would you mount the bumper support?

BTW, I have both radiator supports and was trying to make a lil observation

 

I lost the diagram, but the core support is like 5-6 pieces.
Some are the same and some are different. cant remember which are though

 

If you have both radiator supports, use the JDM one.

The JDM hood wont close over the U.S. top piece. The middle portion of the radiator support(JDM) is where the hood latch would go. The two side pieces of the radiator support(JDM) have provisions for the bumper beam and bumper support bracket. The other piece(bottom of support) is the same as U.S. spec.

 

.... and i was giving you advice. I really didnt mean anything else by it.

where would you mount the bumper support? why skimp out on the radiator support? you would need alot of modification to the usdm rad support.

No easy way around it, unless you want to cut the crap out of your car and then it still won't fit right.Just take your time and do it right don't rush it it's not worth it.
