I have slid two thru before by shaving the vc and debadgeing the vtec logo off. They paid no attention to the head. Wrote the block number down and went on wit h the test. It passed. This was in a teg thou with a sk2 im. I know a couple other people that did the same. This is why I tried it. Not sure it will work everywere. And I don't know the penatlies if you get caught or if there is one.

Its up to the cop. Cops are everyday people like us, you never know you might run into one that works on his sons/daughters honda and knows what motor it is.
