Injector leaks after an EGR port cleaning?
Hey H-T guys,
After doing an EGR port cleaning on my 5th gen., I started to smell fuel odor.
I followed like the article stated on accord (FAQ). Ran the car after I put everything back and it was fined. This morning, I started the car for a warm up to head to work. After awhile I smell fuel odor so I just turn off the car and will fix it after work today.
The article stated that he didn't take out the injectors from the manifold because of this I don't think the injectors sat well on the fuel rail. Maybe I can take the injectors and sit it in the fuel rail first then the manifold.
Any methods are welcome!!!

a friend had this happen after he cleaned his egr ports on his 94 EX. He just went to Honda and ordered new o-rings for the injectors and replaced them. No more fuel leak.
also, just an fyi, the injectors dont sit in block, they sit in the intake manifold and fuel rail.

I figured it would be easier to understand that way then the manifold. Thanks for the info. will change it...
I had this problem. I pinched two of the O-rings that seal the injectors to the fuel rail 'cause I didn't follow directions. You've gotta put the injectors in the fuel rail first, and then put the rail/injectors back onto the manifold. Double-check whether you damaged any of those O-rings, k? Don't need any engine fires.
Yes, thank you that was my plan after work today. I'm gonna try to sit the injector in the rail first then the manifold. Just hoping I didn't pinched the o-rings, dam!
